Hotels on the Strip

This next bunch of pages is just a tour of the awesome hotels in Las Vegas.  The pictures are ordered in basically the way the line up on the strip.

This is a shot of the Luxor.  It's a big pyramid with a sphynx in front.  The bright light at the top of the picture is on the top of the pyramid.  It's the only man made object visible from space other than the Great Wall.  Of course I never got a good picture of the hotel during the day, but that's just because I'm a moron.

This is inside the Luxor, which is just a HUGE atrium.  The spot where the american flag is hanging is just about the top, which is 25 stories high.  It's the largest atrium in the world, I think.

This is the Excalibur, a medieval themed hotel.  They've even got the medieval times type dinner theatre like the one that was in The Cable Guy.

This is the MGM Grand, still the largest hotel in the world, I think, with over 5,000 rooms.  And if you pay attention to the scale, you can tell that that's a mighty big lion.
