2004 AVP Hermosa Beach Open Here are some pictures from the AVP in Hermosa Beach which was held in the end of July. These are some shots of the general setup. You can see where it is, right on the beach, right next to the pier. so it was kinda nice because my apartment is three blocks away. The picture on the right is a free concert by Smashmouth. These are from the various courts around the tournament.
These are from the main court. The two right pictures are during one of the finals, which is why it's packed.
These are from the finals. The pictures on the ends are the intro of the women's and men's finals, where they bring the players in on the beach patrol trucks.
This is the "celebrity" volleyball game. There really weren't too many celebrities that anyone even cares about. Dennis Rodman was the coach of one team, Jamie Kennedy was in it, and so was Hal Sparks, the kid from "Jerry MacGuire" and Amarosa from "The Apprentice."
