Tijuana, Mexico

So we (Conner and I) went to San Diego, and decided to go to Tijuana.  Unfortunately, we really didn't do too much in San Diego, except go to this wild animal park (which was pretty cool).  So, I don't have any pictures of San Diego, with the exception of animals in the park, but I'll put those up at some point.  For now, you're just gonna have to live with a few Tijuana pictures.

So here's the entrance to Mexico along I-5.  It's really not that difficult to get in.

Now, getting back into the US, that's another story.  It's a little difficult to see, but the traffic is really backed up.  Fortunately, there are parking lots all around the border on the US side so you can walk across, which makes coming back much quicker.

This 15ft tall rusty metal fence extends as far as you can see.  It's really lovely, let me tell you.  And on the left right there is beautiful Tijuana.

So just like walking, this is what it takes to get into Mexico: a one way revolving metal gate (this is from the Mexican side, which is why that woman is walking towards me).  And of course, getting back to the US isn't quite so simple, but it's pretty quick provided you have a driver's license.
