The House

So I'm living in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo about 3 blocks from campus.  I have one roommate, Brian (who owns the place), who's an Electrical Engineering major.  It's really convenient because from our place to the building I spend most of my time in is about a 10 minute walk.  Although lately, even that can be pretty painful in this ridiculous Texas heat.  Also, we're right across the street from a Taco Bell and a really good burger place.  So that should be a nice test of my willpower (assuming I don't want to gain 100 lbs over the next year).

This is right when you walk in the front door.  The dartboard was a great addition to the room.  No dining room table necessary, as we generally eat in our rooms, or on a tray table watching TV.

This is the same spot looking to the right, you can see our fireplace (which will probably never get used), our balcony, and our makeshift bar.  Still have to do some work to make the bar area cooler.  We've got the ideas, just need to get it done.

Looking back towards the front door you can see the screen for the sweet projector that Brian has.  Great for watching movies and Football.  In widescreen it comes to about a 75" screen.

Looking a little bit to the right, you can see the abovementioned projector on top of the kitchen cabinets. 

The kitchen.  All the appliances are new except for the microwave over the oven, but that will probably be replaced at some point.
